Description

Gingival Overgrowth : Role of a general dentist in clinical diagnosis and management Changes in the gingiva may signal local or systemic disease process that may require early intervention. Systemic conditions such as haematological disorders, lymphomas and adverse drug reactions may manifest first in the oral cavity without any systemic signs and symptoms. When this happens, patients present first to the general dentist because the problem is in the oral cavity. Knowledge on the etiology of various forms of gingival enlargement will enable the general practioner to differentiate between local lesions that can be managed by the dentist and those that are due to systemic causes. This will allow early referral for specialized care. Tax Compliance and emerging issues Tax compliance involves tax payment on time and full filing of tax requirements as per the laws and regulation of a country. All employed people and business people are expected to fill their tax return on time by the government of Kenya. It is important to understand how tax compliance is achieved to avoid being a law breaker and causing inconveniences to self or business.
