Description

An annual  International Conference modelled after the Global Missions Health Conference in Louiseville Kentucky bringing together various health care workers to share experiences from a health missions perspective and to exchange information current trends in various fields to enable effectiveness in service.

 

 


Objectives

To equip  for service

To encourage, challenge and inspire

To educate and build capacity

To bring out areas requiring urgent health  interventions

To help participants appreciate the different dynamics in the mission field, the limited resource settings, the adjustments  required by individuals and teams .

To develop copying mecahnisms to manage and withstand the burn out and stress associated with the transitions.

To mobilise healthcare workers to heed to the demand for their service in low resource and difficult environments
