Description

Lateral cephalometry is an essential diagnostic aid in orthodontic treatment. Various orthodontic analyses have been invented which leaves the orthodontics with many planes and angles to interpret. This one-day course will eliminate the dilemma with tracing and interpretation of lateral cephalometry by using a consistent method for landmarking and plane construction. The attendee will train on tracing both using hand and digital methods. In addition, methods for super-imposition of before and after lateral cephs will be discussed

Objectives

a) Identify and trace key landmarks on lateral Ceph b) Identify important planes on lateral Ceph c) Calibrate lateral cephs d) Differentiate between skeletal and dental measurement e) Interpret angular and linear measurement and correlate to treatment planning f) Recognize super-imposition steps using digital program (Facad)
