The Oncology Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Meeting is a collaborative clinical forum that brings together healthcare professionals from various specialties involved in cancer care, including oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, oncology nurses, palliative care specialists, pharmacists, and allied health professionals. The MDT reviews cancer cases, discusses diagnostic findings, formulates individualized treatment plans, evaluates treatment responses, and coordinates comprehensive patient-centered care. The meeting promotes evidence-based decision-making, improves communication among disciplines, and enhances the quality and continuity of oncology services.

Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive care where appropriate. Evaluate treatment outcomes and response assessments to guide ongoing patient management. Identify complex clinical challenges and treatment options for difficult or advanced cancer cases. Promote multidisciplinary collaboration and communication among healthcare professionals involved in cancer care. Apply national and international oncology guidelines in clinical decision-making.
