Description

Equip participants with skills to recognize life-threatening emergencies promptly Enable delivery of high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants Train participants to provide effective ventilations using barrier devices Promote early and appropriate use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Develop competence in team-based resuscitation and effective communication during multi-rescuer CPR Ensure adherence to the latest American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC)

Objectives

Trains participants in rapid identification and response to life-threatening emergencies Focuses on high-quality chest compressions and effective ventilations Covers CPR techniques for adults, children, and infants Explains the Chain of Survival with emphasis on BLS components Emphasizes early use of an AED to improve survival outcomes Teaches proper use of barrier devices for safe ventilations Highlights teamwork and roles in multi-rescuer resuscitation scenarios Includes training on relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) in adults and infants Based on the latest AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC Suitable for healthcare professionals and personnel in both in-facility and pre-hospital settings
