Expected outcomes of this presentation is dental practitioners empowered on antimicrobials and agent synergy with the example of Co-Amoxiclav, reminded on bacterial activity (especially cell wall synthesis), microbial resistance, and being cognizant of the one health triad for safe and efficient antimicrobial use with additional conclusions.
Objectives
Objectives of this presentation include: a summary analogy of antimicrobial agents specifically bactericidal cell wall inhibitors, a recap of bacterial structure and function aligned to targeted action of antimicrobials, as well as microbial adaptations in resistance and the One health approach.
