Description
An audit session presented by the medical officer who was on duty at the time of the mortality followed by an open discussion of the circumstances surrounding the case.
Objectives
To help all staff members of the maternity and postnatal wards identify and manage cases of PPH in a timely manner.
To identify the various gaps that could have contributed to the death of this particular clients and use them as learning points in order to avoid similar eventualities in other patients.
