bedrock of specialty updates that has characterised the KAP conference over the years and have included specialties that have not been present in previous meetings. put an emphasis on new, and particularly local, research with abstracts being at the core of all the sessions. future meetings will be more of new science and less of updates. We are also tackling sub-themes related to issues that increasingly impinge on the work of practitioners such as digital information and technology and the political, social and economic environment that we work in. address the fraught subject of work life balance of physicians. sessions will be delivered by experts at the peak of their careers as well as those who are brave enough to stand on their shoulders.
