Description
Replacement of missing teeth using dental implants is now a common procedure carried by most dentists. Like any other medical procedure, complications may occur at different stages of treatment. Most of these complications are due to poor patient case selection and also inadequate site preparation preoperatively. An understanding of what constitutes adequate patient and site preparation is key to minimising the risk of biological and mechanical implant complications
