Description
The regional Africa STEMI Congress was initially set up to be a meeting for interventional cardiologists to try and improve and standardize care of Cathlab interventional procedure for patients suffering Acute Coronary Syndromes. Very quickly the founders of Africa STEMI discovered that the main problem for STEMI management in Africa was indeed access to diagnosis and treatment. The Africa STEMI congress has therefore, retained a very close focus an interventional management of ACS.
