Presenters

  1. Dr. Edna Mutua
    Dr. Edna Mutua is an Anthropologist working as a Health Systems Researcher at the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust in Kenya. Before joining the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust, Edna worked as a Researcher at the University of Glasgow’s School of Social and Political Sciences and the International Livestock Research Institute. Her research interests are within the spheres of One Health, zoonotic diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and gender analysis of livelihoods and health interventions in East Africa. Edna holds a PhD in Anthropology and an MA in Gender and Development Studies from the University of Nairobi’s Department of Anthropology, Gender and African Studies.
