Introduction. Endocrowns are a viable option for the restoration of root canal treated molars with extensive loss of tooth structure.
Objectives
Objectives
By the end of the hands-on training, the participants should be
able to:
1. Conduct an appraisal of tooth structure loss and select cases
that can benefit from an endocrown for cuspal coverage
2. Do a pre-endodontic treatment build-up and make a matrix
for provisionalization
3. Do tooth preparation for tooth preparation
4. Fabricate provisional restoration using a matrix
5. Take impressions and communicate with the laboratory
6. Explain the steps in bonding of the definitive restoration
