Description
Until recently, reliable scientific evidence on number of implants and techniques required to reconstruct an edentulous jaw has been scarce, but in recent years very good consensus statements have emerged. In this presentation, consensus statements will be discussed in details and highlighted by means of case demonstrations.
Objectives
1. Identify treatment options for edentulous reconstruction including guided surgery.
2. Identify when immediate placement and loading of prostheses are indicated.
